Meet Dr. Sheva Chervinskiy

Dr. Sheva Chervinskiy has been practicing as an allergist and immunologist since 2015, with a particular passion for clinical immunology and the care of children with inborn errors of immunity.

Her journey toward medicine began early in life. As the oldest of five siblings, she developed a natural love for caring for children and found great joy in watching them grow and learn. During high school, Dr. Chervinskiy served as a junior volunteer at Cook Children's, where she first discovered her calling in pediatric medicine - a path that came full circle when she returned to Cook Children's as a physician in 2023.

Dr. Chervinskiy enjoys the rapidly growing field of immunology, where new diagnoses and discoveries are being made at an exponential rate every year. She is especially passionate about caring for patients who don't fit neatly into a "diagnostic box," working closely with families as a thoughtful investigator and advocate throughout their child's medical journey. She finds great fulfillment in identifying rare diseases, collaborating with experts across the country and internationally, and helping families navigate complex care with compassion and clarity.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Chervinskiy enjoys spending time with her husband and children. Together, they love to travel, hike and indulge in family movie nights. She is also an active Girl Scout troop leader, inspiring curiosity and confidence in the next generation.
